BREAKING: Galaxy Z Fold 4 starts getting the One UI 5.1 update

While pre-orders of the Galaxy S23 haven’t even started reaching all customers worldwide, Samsung has already started rolling out the One UI 5.1 update to the old smartphone. The Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra have received the update. Now, even the Galaxy Z Fold 4 has started getting the One UI 5.1 update.

The One UI 5.1 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 comes with a firmware version F936BXXU1CWAC. The update is currently available in Germany and the Netherlands, and availability may expand to more European countries in the next few days. Samsung may release the update worldwide before the end of this month. However, carrier-locked smartphone units can get the update later.

At this pace, it looks like users of older high-end Galaxy smartphones will experience One UI 5.1 before users of the Galaxy S23 series. If you are a Galaxy Z Fold 4 user in Europe, you can now check for the One UI 5.1 update by navigating to Arrangement » Software update and knock Download and install. You can also download new firmware files as they become available in our firmware database.
